For more than 20 years the Seattle Humane Society's Pet Food Bank has served the pets of low-income seniors and the disabled, so that they don't have to choose between self care and pet care. More than 750 clients receive pet food, supplies, and other necessities on a monthly schedule. Wesley, pictured, is just one of the pets that benefits from this program. If you can help, please bring a donation of wet or dry cat food to our shelter in Bellevue. We're located on SE Eastgate Way in Bellevue at the junction of I-90 and I-405., and we're open every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., but you can leave a donation for the Pet Food Bank, anytime! Other ways to help include running a pet food drive in your community, church, or business, or volunteering as one of our volunteer "barrel buddies." For more information, check out our website at seattlehumane.org, or contact our Community Outreach Coordinator at (425) 649-7566. 2 Comments |
