NHL in Everett: Tickets still available for tonight's game

3:59 AM Tue, Sep 22, 2009 |

The Tampa Bay Lightning and Phoenix Coyotes will drop the puck tonight at 7:35 at Comcast Arena in Everett, and as of this writing, there are still a few tickets available, although they're going quickly.

Click here to go directly to Comcast Arena's order form. You can pick your tickets up at "Will Call" just before the game.

Judging by the number of hits that stories about tonight's game have been getting here at the KING 5 Hockey page, interest is hitting an all time high. Phoenix Coyotes forward (and former Silvertip) Peter Mueller is excited to make his first trip back to Everett since he left in 2007. You can read more about what he has to say about Everett, the NHL and what he's learned about himself these past few years. Just click here, or find it on the hockey page. (Special thanks to Brynna Owens for the photos of Peter as a Silvertip; special thanks to the Phoenix Coyotes for the photo of Peter as a Coyote).

Also in Phoenix's lineup: former Silvertips D-man Shaun Heshka, who went to the Calder Cup Finals with the Manitoba Moose last season (they lost to the Hershey Bears). In Tampa Bay's lineup: former Seattle Thunderbirds goaltender Riku Helenius and former Spokane Chiefs netminder Dustin Tokarski.

Dave Spina who will be playing for the Coyotes tonight, started playing hockey for TAHA at age 3 at the Sprinker Arena in Spanaway, WA.

Thank you so much for the info about Dave Spina! Hopefully,we'll get to speak with him after morning skate!

The reason there are still tickets is because hockey is barely a sport and has less followers than NASCAR. They should just pack it in or send it back to Canada.
