It sounds like the Green Bay Packers are the first team to publicly come out with a Twitter-ing policy. The Packers do not want players to Twitter while at work. If they do, they'll receive a $1701 fine. $1701 seems kind of arbitrary, but all those one dollars add up. I can see where a job may not want you to Twitter on the job about personal stuff, but I'm guessing a football player will Tweet football stuff. And isn't that what everyone would interested in? |
