« WHL: Silvertips, T-Birds release tentative 2009-2010 Season schedules |Main| Walter Jones Missing from Seahawks Camp? »
The Seahawks sign a defensive player today. Unfortunately for Aaron Curry, it's not him. They signed Travis Fisher to a free agent deal. He played cornerback for Detroit last season. The Hawks official news release is after the jump.
Fisher, originally drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the second round (64th overall) of the 2002 NFL Draft out of Central Florida, spent the last two seasons with the Detroit Lions after five seasons in St. Louis. He has started 74 of 86 career games, with 329 tackles (288 solo), nine interceptions, two touchdowns and 39 passes defensed. |
