If you've always wanted to ask a pro athlete a question, but never could? Well now is your chance to do it. We call it "Ask the Sounders." It's your opportunity to ask the coaches or players a question about the game or anything else. We will take the top 3 questions. So put your questions in the "Comments" section.

For Freddie Lungberg
Do you prefer a crowd full of whistles as in Europe or the overwhelming "boo's" here in America when showing disapproval in play?
For Sounders.
Do you think that bringing a Mexican player would be good for the team and fans?
Like Jorge requested, how about an Asian player to represent that demographic?
We already have two Colombians and a Costa Rican. We cut Smith so we have nobody from that Hemisphere.
This is a question for Sigi or Adrian.
Does the MLS have an appeal process if you disagree with a Red card booking? I know that last season I heard in the English Premier League of a few Red cards overturned on appeal.
The Sounders,
Is it difficult to hear "Boo's from the other crowd?
This is a question for either Sigi or Adrian.
Does the MLS have an appeal process similar to the English Premier League if a team disagrees with a booking such as a Red card?
Last season in the EPL there were a few Red cards that were overturned on appeal.
Kasey Keller,
I have heard a story that you were only scored on once in high school. Is this true?
For management:
When the Seahawks start playing at Qwest next month will we see football lines on the field for Sounders games?
A question for any player:
How do you move beyond disappointment while learning from a crushing experience such as the August 2, 2009 San Jose 'Quakes match ?
How do you draw on inner motivation to supplement and enhance Coach Sigi's direction ?

? for any coach:
Is playing the toughest possible available opponents in a friendly the best way to maximize the learning experience for our side (team)?
In other words, is it your preference to play the opponent with the highest skill levels in order to speed the development of our players ?
Note: to KONG-6-16: As always feel free to edit for length or clarity. Thank you.

How did the groundskeepers get all that natural grass into the stadium, and how did they get it to stay in place despite the slide tackles and everything else that takes place during a soccer game?
What did you think of the DC United president taking a shot at the Sounders fans?
Adrian, Seattle

Adrian, Seattle
This is a question for the management or the coaching staff.
It is evident that Seattle is a top MLS market with 30K+ fans at every match. We have become an international venue and a representative of US soccer on the international stage. If we aspire to have a real place in the international stage, we need a world class pitch with real grass.
Is there a reason not to have a world class pitch to accommodate the world class soccer events that we wish to host in the future?
We have everything here in Seattle, great fans and a great team, except for a great pitch.
For the sounders weekly can you show a time lapse of the field conversion from NFL to MLS? I would like to see how the team washes the lines off the plastic.

"Is there a reason not to have a world class pitch to accommodate the world class soccer events that we wish to host in the future?"
how do you wash real grass without flooding the field? how do you convince the Seahawks to go back to grass?- meaning the last 1/2 of the MLS Season + playoffs would be played on a tore-up field.
Why aren't there more player replica jerseys available (like Zakuani, Le Toux, Riley, etc.)? Why no more women's jerseys? Why don't I see Sounders gear in more stores around the area? It seems like the marketing department is really missing the boat...

Question for Coach Sigi: In the regular MLS season is there any such thing as a "Make or Break" match (game) ? That would be "Make it happen" or "Break up the starting lineup". I seem to remember the Seattle Times newspaper quoting you after the San Jose Earthquakes defeat that "If it happens again it will be time to turn things upside down".

My question is for Joel Kip,
Can we please do without the scoreboard sound effects during the game? Also, when they interview Sigi during the game, it really pisses me off that I have to watch the back of his head instead of the game. I mean HE has the good sense to keep his eye on the game, can the person choosing the camera exercise a little common sense a well?

For the Sounders:
The confetti is sparkly and pretty as it falls at gametime, but is it a nuisance to play with it on the turf all game long?
for fredy montero
do u like to score goal or u rater play im gk or other possision
For Terry Boss:
What's the most important thing you've learned so far from training with Kasey Keller?
Thanks,
Mike
For Freddie Lungberg
how frustrated are you about the refrees when it comes to commiting fouls?
DAWIT
For Freddie Lungberg
how do you feel about the decisions of the referees after a foul is commited?
DAWIT
FOR KASEY KELLER
how long are you going to be in seattle?
FOR KASEY KELLER

For Kasey -
Do you think the red cards are getting out of hand?
pat in bellevue
For Adrian:
Do you think the playoff structure in the MLS will change in the near future? And currently, why do over half the teams in the league make the playoffs? It seems to make the regular season somewhat irrelevant when half the teams make the playoffs.

For Adrian: Does the MLS have some rule against mentioning USL teams? I have been upset for some time about the lack of acknowledgment of the contribution of the USL Sounders to the legacy and furtherance of soccer in this area. They were a very successful bridge between the NASL Sounders and the MLS Sounders FC. The final straw for me was the article in the Times today (Sunday, August 23), in which it is noted that Alan Hinton coached the NASL Sounders, and the Tacoma Stars of indoor soccer, but makes no mention of the fact that he was a successful coach of the USL Sounders. The same is true for Brian Schmetzer. There have been many instances of the same kind of thing on TV as well. So I'm thinking that the MSL must have some sort of draconian rule against mentioning anything to do with the USL. Thanks for letting me vent. Having been a season ticket holder with the USL Sounders for a few years, and now with the MLS Sounders, this has been building up for some time.
Question for anyone:
If the Seattle Sounders FC win the U.S. Open Cup on September 2, 2009 and enter the CONCAF Champions League then how many total additional games will there be next season ? Is the CONCAF Champions league a round-robin tournament or is it single-elimination or double elimination or what ?
Note to KONG-6-16-TV: As always, feel free to edit for clarity or length. Thank you.
Question for Coach Sigi:
ESPN has shown a disturbing statistic during the past two MLS games broadcast on their network stating that the Sounders have not scored a goal after the 77th minute in an MLS game all season. Having witnessed firsthand our boys score three late goals in US Open Cup play at Starfire (89' vs KC, 89' & 95' vs Houston), why haven't the Sounders been able to capitalize as late in MLS match play? What can be done to get some late-in-the-game goals this late into the season, when every goal matters?
Kasey Keller,
In you're entire life, have you ever scored a goal?
Kasey Keller,
The Blue Angels ride looked amazing on TV. What was it really like?
For Adrian GM:
Soccer fans are like non other, They give you the full 90 and want to give more. Other sport's venues, Fans tend to leave early if the outcome is not favorable. We Sounders Fan stay until someone end up kicking us out. My question is, will there be more than 90 at the last home game this season?
Thanks
