The Seattle Mariners get some bad news today and this is no joke. M's third baseman Adrian Beltre injured his testicle last night after a groundball took a bad hop and hit him in the groin area. Beltre does not wear a protective cup. According to the Mariners, there was some tearing of the testicle and apparently there is also some internal bleeding. The team is going to wait to see if the injury requires surgery.
