NHL: Meet Blues rookie sensation T.J. Oshie this weekend

Oshie holds hockey summer camp and autograph fundraising session


He was one of the most exciting rookies this past NHL season; so much so, a fan actually wrote him onto the ballot for Mayor of St. Louis.


T.J. Oshie cut his hockey teeth right here in Western Washington, as part of the Seattle Junior Hockey Association, and he's back home this week to share his hockey skills and enthusiasm with youngsters from around the region.

Not only is Oshie conducting a hockey camp for kids, he's also taking part in an autograph fundraising event for the SJHA where fans of all ages can meet and chat with this talented young man.


Let's first give you information on the camp.
Oshie's Snipers & Stoppers Camp will take place Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19 at Olympicview Ice Arena in Mountlake Terrace. Here's how the camp will be broken down:

Pee Wee & Squirt
Saturday, July 18: 11am - 3:15pm
Sunday, July 19: 10:30am - 2:45pm


Midget & Bantam
Saturday, July 18: 12:30pm - 4:45pm
Sunday, July 19: 12:00pm - 4:15pm


TJ will be joined at camp by his father Tim Oshie (Head Coach at Warroad High School and SJHA) and Dan Murphy, former NHL goaltender and goaltending coach for the SJHA and Sno-King associations.
