The camp, held from August 6 to 15 in Lake Placid, NY, is used to select USA Hockey's roster for the 2010 World Junior Championships, held in Saskatoon and Regina, SK from December 26-January 5.

Maxwell, 18, completed his first year in the Western Hockey League by recording 22 goals and 24 assists for 46 points in 57 games played. The Manhattan Beach, CA native posted the first hat trick in Silvertips' postseason history with three goals in a 3-2 win over the Tri-City Americans in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.
He becomes the second member of the organization affiliated with the National Junior Evaluation Camp after Silvertips Associate Head Coach Jay Varady was named as Video Coach for the World Junior Championships. (See separate news release)
Everett's 2008-09 season has concluded, though ticket packages for the 2009-10 season are currently on sale.
