The Huskies are facing hard times too. They were suppose to cut 2.8 million dollars out of its atheletic budget. A few weeks ago, they cut the swimming department. Now they've cut 13 positions in the Athletic Department. According to their website, that'll account for $600,000 of the cuts. The other 1 million from "various across-the-board reductions in the department's sports and administrative operating budget as well as various revenue generating initiatives." The original1.2 mil cut came from getting rid of the swimming teams.
