Of Everett's eleven drafted players, five are forwards, four are defensemen, and two are goaltenders. Five players were drafted out of Alberta, two were drafted from Saskatchewan, British Columbia and the United States, and one player was drafted out of Manitoba.

A total of 233 players were selected in the 2009 WHL Bantam Draft with Alberta leading all provinces and states with 74 players selected; British Columbia was second with 56 picks, Saskatchewan was close behind with 45, followed by Manitoba's 34 and rounded out with 24 players selected from the United States.

Everett drafted in the number eight and eleven spots in the first round, taking St. Albert, AB defenseman Nicholas Walters with the eighth pick and Dallas, TX defenseman Seth Jones with the eleventh pick.
