I just got an e-mail from the Seahawks about tomorrow's game with the Bears. They say you can bring in sealed bottles of water to help keep you cool during the game. As you can see in the blog below, KING5 chief meteorologist Jeff Renner says it's gonna be warm. The Hawks also say you can bring empty plastic sports bottles, too. The official press release is after the jump. Seahawks fans are reminded to prepare for tomorrow's warm weather Fans attending the Seahawks vs. Bears game tomorrow are allowed to bring factory sealed bottles of water as well as empty plastic sports bottles into the stadium. In addition, there are over 50 drinking fountains located throughout Qwest Field and Qwest Field Event Center. Fans can also cool down in Touchdown City located in the Qwest Field Event Center starting at 3:00pm. For more information visit www.seahawks.com 2 Comments |
I watched your newscast on Aug. 15 regarding the Seahawks allowing fans to bring in factory sealed bottles of water. So imagine my surprise and embarrassment when I went thorough the bag check and was told that I had to throw away my factory sealed water bottle because it is NOT allowed! Upon mentioning your newscast I was told that the gate employees supervisors said that it is not allowed and that the newscast was incorrect in say otherwise. I will be sure not to follow your advice in the future.
As a season ticket holder, I will tell you, Yvonne, that we have always been allowed to bring in sealed water bottles. I bring a gallon every game. You must have had a "newb" at the bag check.
