Not that it's too surprising, but a Harris Poll claims the Mariners popularity is declining. They've dropped from eighth most popular in 2007 to 17th in 2008. According to the website, it's the lowest the M's have been ranked since 2004. The team's highest ranking came in 1999. Seattle was the sixth most popular team. The Yankees have been the top ranked team six years running. The online poll was conducted June 9th-16th.
