Josh Feit over at the Slog is reporting that sources in Olympia confirm a new Sonics deal in the works. According to the Stranger's blog, a "super-rich local crew" has plans to front a "major chunk of change" to redo lame-duck KeyArena. Feit says this new deal has the public footing a much smaller portion of the $250-million deal that bottomed out in Olympia for (insert boo or hiss here) Clay Bennett and crew.
