One note I forgot to highlight on 3rd Down Conversions was the fact that in 2005 (not a bad year for the Hawks), the team converted 19 of 19 third and one, or fourth and one, chances. Extending drives, wearing opponents down, and controlling the clock were key components of that Super Bowl team's success, and a lot of that began by dominating third and short. 1 Comments |
