The Seahawks have drafted CB Josh Wilson out of Maryland. Here's his bio from Maryland Football's webpage. With all our injuries to our D-backs last season, Wilson will be a nice addition for depth. He has good speed. He ran a 4.39 40 at the combine. Wilson's value could come at the return game. He's a dangerous kick return specialist. A Washington Post article reports that Hall-of-Fame runningback Earl Campbell is a family friend to the Wilson's. Josh calls him "Uncle Earl." The cornerback is a typical Seahawks pick. The team loves character. Wilson won the ACC's top student-athlete award. Click on this link to find out about that and more stats on the Hawks top pick. 1 Comments |
Great just what we need ANOTHER undersized Cornerback. He's only 5'9"!!!!!!!!!!!! The seahawks were reaching too far to grab him this early.
Ugh... and now DJack is traded for some 4th rounder? *sigh*
