Reporting from Cheney:
QB Gibran Hamdan and WR Ben Obomanu are creating the biggest buzz around camp. Hamdan is coming off an MVP season in NFL Europe and the coaches are impressed with his progress. There’s already talk he could beat out David Greene as the #3 quarterback. And if Hamdan continues to improve, it could allow the Hawks to experiment with Seneca Wallace at other positions.

Obomanu was a 7th round pick out of Auburn. He ranks 2nd all time in touchdown receptions despite the fact Auburn was primarily a running team. So far, he shown good speed and good hands. With Darryl Jackson and Jerramy Stevens recovering from off-season surgery, Obomanu could find his way onto the team.
