Safety Ken Hamlin didn’t deliver any hits, but started jawing with several rookies who tried to challenge him on deep plays. Nate Burleson, Taco Wallace and Peter Warrick had the best day of the skill players. Warrick appears to be back at 100%. He has regained the speed and mobility he lost after suffering an injury a couple years ago. Taco Wallace needs a good camp and a little luck on his side. Wallace has finished his eligibility on the practice squad and faces an outright release if he doesn’t make the Hawks roster. Holmgren said he expects all of his players to be back by the final preseason game Aug. 31. "As I've gotten a little bit older, I probably worry about the injury thing a little bit more. We probably won't bang as much as we have in the past," he said. With a more experienced team, Holmgren said he has fewer questions about players' abilities. "We'll save the banging around for the games," he said. "That's not to say we won't do it." I know he plays for the bad guys, but talk about role models. ...Reporting from Cheney: It's evident this is a more mature Seahawk team and Training Camp hasn't even started. The players walk with a little swagger and speak with more confidence. They're ready to put the Super Bowl loss behind them and make a return this year. On the injury front, Michael Boulware is still recovering from knee surgery. He ran during the morning practice to get a gauge on his rehab work. Boulware will do some light running for the next couple of days. He's not expected to practice until sometime next week. Rookie Defensive End Darryl Tapp participated in the morning session. He impressed the coaches during the mini-camp in June, beating All-Pro Walter Jones on several plays. He seems a little undersized in person, but the Hawks like his pass-rush potentional.
