With official word today that Ray Rhodes took the job with the Texans, Holmgren's team is looking more and more different. Holmgren will be back, sure. But as RealFootball365 points out, with almost an entirely new offensive coaching staff. Lost so far: Line coach Bill Laveroni, fired. Nolan Cromwell, wide receivers coach, to Texas A&M as offensive coordinator. Gary Reynolds, quality control, went along with. Jim Zorn (and who can blame the Seahawks legend for seeking job security) went to the Redskins as their new offensive coordinator. Now on defense, Ray Rhodes. With Keith Gilbertson moved to receivers coach and Mike Solari hired as the new o-line coach, there have been plenty of changes. Who knows what it means for Holmgren's final attempt as Seahawks head coach to hold the Lombardi Trophy. Maybe nothing. For a deeper look, the Seattle Times blog has compiled a list of all the coaching staff changes since 1999. 1 Comments |
Who whole coaching staff is "DISMANTLED", hopefully a fresh start and new beginning for the hawks for 2008.
