As the wholesale desire for the Seahawks coaching staff continues, the Houston Chronicle is reporting that Ray Rhodes will be the new assistant defensive backs coach for the Texans. Kind of makes the 12th Man glad Holmgren made his decision in such a timely manner. If he had taken as long as Dan Snyder who knows how many other Seahawks coaches would be glancing at bluer skies. Rhodes, who has been with the Seahawks as a defensive coach/consultant since 2003, grew up in Mexia, about 200 miles from Houston. |
