No UK calling

10:25 AM Mon, Jan 28, 2008 |

The Seahawks will not be heading to London to play a regular season game next year, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. The newspaper, citing sources, says the Chargers got the nod and will play against the Saints in Great Britain. The game will reportedly be held on October 26th. It will be the NFL's second regular-season contest played outside North America. This past season, Miami played the Giants.

Well, that is fine with me. But what about the "China Bowl?" Is that still on the NFL agenda for 2009? Will that happen?

The last I heard, the China Bowl was rescheduled for 2009.

From Seahawks.com: "The American Bowl preseason game in China, originally set for August 9 in Beijing between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks, will be rescheduled. Working in partnership with the Beijing municipal authorities, the NFL will plan to play a game at the National Stadium of Beijing in August of 2009."
