The Seahawks moved quickly and filled the opening for an offensive line coach, hiring Mike Solari. Solari spent the last 11 seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, the final two years as their offensive coordinator, and the previous nine as the O-line coach. According to the Hawks press release, during Solari's tenure (and more specifically since 2001), the Chiefs rush offense finished in the top ten, five out of seven years. I guess it doesn't hurt to have Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson during those seasons. Solari replaces Bill Lavaroni, who was let go on Tuesday. 1 Comments |
Lets all hope, as Hawk fans, that this guy brings a whole new concept to our offensive line. These guys, with changes coming via trades, draft, etc., need to start getting the job done. Anyways, let's hope.......
