Hasselstache no more

Matt Hasselbeck showed up to practice Tuesday sporting a 70's style mustache. Yes, the dark, short, and totally out of place 'stache. Almost Adam Morrison-esque! But after just one day of trying to keep a straight face while attempting to run an offense during practice, Hasselbeck decided the mustache wasn't for him.

On Wednesday the quarterback told the media (with a clean shaven face) that it wasn't as much of a hit at home as it was in the lockerroom. While his teammates joked around about it, his two-year-old son tried to rip it off, thinking it was a fake. Matt says his wife and kids were not fans so he and his son shaved it off together.

Guess the Hasselbeck household prefers consistency with Dad at home, just as much as 'Hawk fans desire it on the field!
