From the Field: Light Snow

It's snowing steadily, but lightly. No wind to speak of at this point. Temp about 29 degrees. The team is looking relaxed going through their warm-ups. Looking pretty sharp in the white uniforms, too. Plenty of Packer pride, but there is a good contigent of Seahawk fans in the stands.

Yesterday's field conditions reminded me of growing up watching the Lombardi Packers on oh so many snowy winter days on the Frozen Tundra of Lambeau Field.

Read that Favre had been waiting for 17 years to play a game during weather like this -- a blizzard. I even called my nephew in Wisconsin to find out if it was running in their area of Wisconsin -- it wasn't.

This was a classic old school NFL football game played in the dead of winter a la the Ice Bowl.
