Branch should play against Packers

Mike Holmgren just wrapped up the longest Monday press conference of the year. The Seahawks Coach spent a lot of time talking about his memories in Green Bay and his former quarterback Brett Favre.

On the Seahawks side of things, Holmgren says that while some Hawk players were dinged up from the Redskins game, everybody, including Deion Branch, is expected to play. Holmgren says Branch will practice lightly this week and will hopefully play against the Packers. So far this season, thanks to injuries, the big four, Branch, DJ Hackett, Nate Burleson and Bobby Engram have only played together in two and a half games. The Seahawks were off today. They begin preparations for the Packers tomorrow.

Branch needs to take the field. Larry Fitzgerald came here in December and played on one leg more or less. He had a pulled hamstring. Branch needs to man-up!

the temperature on Saturday upper 20's cloudy/with 20% precip. any way the Hawks can have a warming trunk for balls with heat pumped thru it so the pigskin won't be like chucking a frozen brick.change balls often to retain heat which might be easier for Matt & receivers to handle on this frigid day.Go Hawks
