The final two games do matter

I've heard alot of people say the Seahawks should rest their starters because the final two games mean nothing. I totally disagree with anyone who believes this. First off, the Seahawks need to get back on track and find some momentum and rhythm before the playoffs start.
Secondly, there is a big difference between the third and the fourth seed.

Right now, the 'Hawks are tied (record wise) with Tampa Bay, but Seattle would hold the tie-breaker because they beat the Bucs on September 9th at Qwest Field. If the playoffs started today, the Seahawks would have the third seed. With that in mind, lets look ahead. If the 'Hawks and Bucs both win their first and second-round games, the third seed would host the fourth in the NFC Championship. A lot has too happen for that to happen. But with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line, I'd rather be playing in Seattle than Tampa Bay.

I know that most of the Seahawk players, coaching staff, and front office, as well as Mr. Allen, frequent the king5 blog just to see what I have to say, so guys...

Ditto what Chris Egan said! Get your tuchases in gear and lets wrap this season up with two more wins! Go Hawks!! (that should do it, you can thank me after we win the Super Bowl.)

Quite seriously, last night I had a dream about the Hawks taking the field. This tells me two things. First, not to ever have pizza, ice cream and beer so late and two, just how disappointing the loss was to me when we so should have and could have won that game. In my dream it was Hasselback taking the field alone with his head hung low, the rest of the players wouldn't even come out of the locker room.

Wow! What a vivid dream! Too bad I didn't have it. To whom ever wrote that blog: Did I write something that offended you at some previous point in time? Please, do let me know. I write my blogs about the Seahawks, not about pizza, beer or icecream.

Don't worry Morrell, that creep has been posting under your name for awhile now. Some people are just losers and need to stir things ups to get their rocks off. Ignore it. True Seahawk fans know when you post and when a jerk like that imatates you.

We know the real Morrell, so don't worry. That person has too much time on his or her hands and is evidently jeolous of you or something. You do make some valid points in other posts, so mabey he or she is intimadated by your input. Who knows, but Hawkfan07 has a point, just ignore the moron.

personally, i think homefield advantage is the last thing we should be worrying about. we need to focus on the hawks playing their hardest for every minute of every game. that's what i thought was the difference between our team and the "elite" teams. the elite teams have generally won the games they were supposed to. meanwhile, take a look at the seahawks schedule. while our current record is impressive, look at our losses...these are games we really should not have lost. the pittsburgh game was the only game i feel we were true underdogs in...and we lost horribly. the seahawks just lack consistency and they have all year. trying to establish a run game proved to be an outright failure and the passing game was looking promising until the carolina game. so in that way, i think we should play out the last 2 games accordingly. i agree we do need some momentum going into the playoffs...especially after the loss we just suffered.

Don't worry morrell, he's imitated me as well. I think we can tell whose who, however. It's too bad he doesn't have a job or significant other to keep them busy.

Thanks everyone. Your support means a lot. GO SEAHAWKS!!!!
