The sports director wanted me to pass on that Paul Silvi got an interview with Rick Neuheisel a few days back and it will air tonight at five pm on KING TV. (You likely know Neuheisel was interviewed for the UCLA head coaching job).

Holmgren spoke of Neuheisel in the presser this afternoon, saying "We got back a little ways." Mike then joked that he gave Neuheisel his start in coaching...after cutting Rick (as a player) from the 49ers. Holmgren gave Neuheisel high marks, calling Rick a good offensive coach and a very creative guy. He also said (in Rick's UW days) that when he'd call Neuheisel for information about a certain player, Neuheisel was always upfront.
