Kerney tearing it up

6:52 PM Tue, Nov 27, 2007 |

Patrick Kerney ranks second in the NFL in sacks. After racking up six sacks the past two games, Kerney trails Green Bay's Aaron Kampman by just half a sack with 10.5. Kerney not only got to the quarterback three times Sunday versus the Rams, but also picked up an interception and forced a fumble. The 6'5, 272 pound defensive end is in his ninth NFL season. His career high 13 sacks came in 2004 while with the Atlanta Falcons. The Seahawks rank third in the NFL with 35 sacks.

The title to your blog pretty much sums it up. Kerney is really motoring right now. I hope he and the rest of the defense keep it up. GO SEAHAWKS!!!!

Kerney's performance is outstanding. But winning is all about defensive pressure. Bring the heat, and good things normally happen. GO HAWKS!
