The Seahawks face three East Coast trips in the next five weeks. Mike Holmgren says he worked hard on a schedule that would help his players adjust to the time they'll be playing on the other coast. In the schedule, he was to hold practice at 8:30 am so his players bodies will get moving at the same time on their body clock that they'll have to on Sunday. But after further thought about the schedule, he tore it all up! Holmgren says he's had the same schedule for 25 years whether his team is playing on the West Coast or the East Coast. He says the mistakes his players make have nothing to do with sleeping patterns or what they eat for breakfast. They are professionals and time change shouldn't affect their quality of play. The coach also says..."I'm not going to talk about it (East Coast trips) any more." |
