Seahawks open as 7-point favorite
The opening line has Seattle as a 7-point favorite over the 0-4 Saints. While there is not much more I can say about Mack, we can look at the Hawks' running game. Weaver will start as the FB. Holmgren said yesterday he is happy with Weaver's improvement. The coach also said Maurice Morris will get more carries in Sunday's game.
As far as the Saints, the team is holding tryouts for a new kicker. Olindo Mare missed two field goals in Sunday 16-13 loss to Carolina. Mike Vanderjagt and Martin Gramatica names are in the mix. You can read more about the Saints woes at the Times-Picayune.

It's pretty sad when fans start making plans for next year when the Hawks are tie for 1st place. OKAY, the Hawks slipped last Sunday's game. There will be 11 more games to play. There is still enough talent in this team to go every far. Hopefully their last lost is an eye opener or an awaken call. Someone has to let the team know that preseason is over, and start playing like every game matters...

Jenny ,i like what u said about preseason being over.a good team needs to have a balanced offense/defense. if the offense goes 3 n out every series it makes time of possesion swing way in favor of the opponent.that's why it's IMPORTANT the OFFENSE does something with the ball to rest the defense.as far as an eye opener i hope this was for the entire team.
