Running game woes continue
After evaluating the first four games of the season, Mike Holmgren gives his team a "B". The Hawks are 3-1 and in first place in the NFC West. But Holmgren is not happy with the running game. The Hawks gained just 93 yards on the ground in Sunday's win over the 49ers.
Holmgren says the offensive line is "missing too many assignments." Period. Guys are going to get beat every once in awhile or encounter technique problems but there is no excuse for lack of execution. And that's what you're seeing on the offensive line.
It's a problem the Hawks are working hard to correct and Holmgren says, " It's something that has all my attention right now."

As any fan can tell you (and many have been very loud in telling me this), Shaun is doing poorly because Shaun sucks. Of course there is no option other than this...
Wait a minute, there's another part to the running game? People actually have to block and create holes for the RB to get yards? He can't just bust through guys that are bigger than him? That seems to be what Holmgren is trying to say. But really, why should I listen to him instead the "Shaun sucks" crowd? After all, he's just a very successful head coach, so why would he know what he's talking about?

The sea hawks are just a mediocre team always have been and always will be.
Face it and get over it!
