Once again the offense took its time to find the endzone. Fortunately the defense helped out. The Seahawks offense had it's issues finding first down for the beginning of the first half. Then, they started clicking, and points went up on the board. Shaun Alexander still looks like a good news / bad news running back. He can peel of a 10-14 yard run then lose 2 yards on the next play. On defense, the pressure on the San Fran quarterbacks has knocked Alex Smith out of the game and kept Trent Dilfer feeling the footsteps. Is this defense strong enough to carry a struggling "O" for a few more games? 2 Comments |
So far, so good. I like what I am seeing. Seattle is just methodically tearing the 49rs up. If they just keep turning Peterson and Kerney loose, San Fran's QB is in trouble. I do like what I see as far as stopping the run (sure they gave up a couple of long runs, so what; they're keeping Gore in check). Also, I am liking what I see on the Seahawks offense. Can't wait to see what the second half will look like. GO SEAHAWKS!
Why keep playing a back who travels sideways and has a hurt hand to boot. Use the other backs at least till alexander is 100%. Defense did great job for being on the field the whole game.
