Brunell Update

11:33 PM Thu, Aug 30, 2007 |

A couple of DC stations called about this deal. According to one station, they made it sound like former Husky Mark Brunell is coming to Seattle to be a backup quarterback for a draft pick. The NFL Network called to see if we've heard anything as well. According to guy from the NFL Network, a prominent Redskins player confirmed it. I won't name him, because who knows if that player is telling the truth. It wouldn't be the first time a player has given mis-information. Another telltale sign that something could happen, David Greene didn't play tonight. Rookie Derek Devine played some in the fourth. Hmmm!

If Brunell makes his way out west, that could mean Seneca Wallace could see some time at wide receiver. By the way, the "cut to 53" has to happen by Saturday night. Stay Tuned.
