Matt would never let on to how injured he really was last year, but by the way he gingerly carried himself on Mondays following some rough games, he was hurting pretty bad.
Those days are long gone. Matt looks great on the field and Mike Holmgren says he should be at the top of his game this year. He had a wonderful 2005 and things are looking up from there for the veteran. He sould be pretty consistent if the people around him do their jobs.
As camp continues, Matt will be working on his judgement. Mike says that is something all quarterbacks work on until their careers expire and Matt is focused on that at this point.
Football is a fast game and instincts are tough to train. Look for an even more poised and confident quarterback leading the Hawks through 2007.
