Deion Branch made his first appearance at mini-camp today. Branch and his new wife, Shola, recently returned from their honeymoon in Saint Lucia...late. The couple was expected to be back late last week, but hurricane winds turned their 7 day trip into 9 days.
The team is glad to have the 2004 Super Bowl MVP back to practice, but he joked about knowing his vacation was over, "(My) first day back from my honeymoon...getting back here...and they measured my fat...and my body weight!"
For the record, his body fat is 10 percent. And he said, he's just glad it's not 20 percent. After that comment he broke it down for us, "Up here (in his torso) I'm 5 percent. Then, once it gets to my thighs...I got big thighs! They bump it up 5 percent!"
After all the poking and prodding, Deion still had his big signature smile throughout practice today.
