Safety free agent Russell signed

According to Mike Sando of the Tacoma News Tribune, the Seahawks have signed safety Brian Russell. Russell is another guy that fills the typical player that the Seahawks like. He's a hard working, intelligent player, good person off the field, hard hitting on the field type of guy. He started with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent. If I remember correctly, he earned a bonus from the NFL or a better contract from the Vikes for playing beyond his supposed abilities in either 2002 or 2003. Sorry, I'm not 100% on the details, but my point is, he's got a great work ethic, good in the locker room, and should be a solid backup on the Hawks.
