During today's presser for the new Seahawks facility, Hawks President Tim Ruskell talked about free agency. Ruskell confirmed that the team is interested in bringing WR Bobby Engram and G Chris Gray back. He also re-affirmed something we already knew. The Hawks aren't interested in bringing TE Jerramy Stevens back. 2 Comments |
I agree on keeping Bobby Engram and Chris Gray in a Seattle Seahawks uniform and I do agree with letting Jeremy Stevens go. Engram is one of our best WR's along with our latest pick-up D.Branch. I do like DJ Hackett, he is becoming a real player in his position. What the hawks need to to do is have Nate Burlesson earn his $49M as a WR not a kick returner. One more thing, We can't have the cowboys pick-up on Ken Hamlin, give him a good contract and let's move on from there.
You're right Eric, DJ Hackett is slowly becoming the man. He'll get more touches next season. The Hawks are high on him. But just be patient with Nate. I think you'll see some results from him this season.
