You can't make this stuff up. Apparently, Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo will hold for field goals during the Pro Bowl game on Saturday. Yes, you've read that correctly, ROMO IS THE NFC's PRO BOWL HOLDER. A certain fiery place must be frozen over. Next thing you know Bears QB Rex Grossman will start at quarterback in Honolulu. But then again, according to Rush Limbaugh, Grossman could succeed if we weren't so hard on him. Check out Limbaugh's wacky reason behind his conspiracy theory. 4 Comments |
Yea Joel, how many holds did Romo blow in the all important pro bowl? The answer is NONE. I guess you forgot to mention that part.

Some of these people posting their comments on here have diarrhea of the mouth and constipation of the brain. If ya can't stick to the subject at hand, then DON'T POST YOUR CRAP!
That said, I will post something relating to Joel's posting. I don't like the Dallas Cowboys, but Romo's a good quarterback. Joel, I think it is the wrong thing to do to malign him for making the Pro Bowl just because he blew a snap in one game.
On the other hand, I do agree with Joel, in that Rex Grossman SHOULD NOT have been selected to the Pro Bowl as a starter. He is not a very good quarterback at this point in his career. I think he has loads of potential, but he seems to not be clicking on all cylinders just yet, so I think that he shouldn't have gone to the Pro Bowl as a starter.
As far as Rush Limbaugh's speculation that Rex Grossman sucks because he's a white quarterback, I think Rush Limbaugh is a joke. I don't believe a damn thing he says.
Can't wait for the 2007 NFL season to start. GO SEAHAWKS!
Thanks for the good post 'Hawk Nation. Yeah, I'm not bashing Romo for being a Pro-Bowl quarterback, just thought it was funny to make him the holder after what happened in Seattle. It's just an observation, nothing more. One could make a case that Romo shouldn't be a Pro-Bowler. He faded a bit near the end of the season. But then who would go? I don't know. It's been a bad year for NFC QB's. I agree with your take on Grossman too. He was to up and down. Thanks again for the good post...keep rockin' the 'Hawk Nation.
