Former Seahawks Quarterback Brock Huard joined myself on Sunday Night's Northwest Sports Tonight to update the health status of Hawks QB Matt Hasselbeck.
Huard says the future looks bright for Matt. His surgery on the torn labrum of his non-throwing shoulder went great. Hasselbeck will finally get the right amount of time to rest, relax and rehab his injuries. Despite several reports, which say Hasselbeck may miss training camp, Huard says, Matt might even be back for the Hawks big mini-camp in June and he should be 100% for the Northwest Cable News Training Camp.
This is an injury Hasselbeck would've loved to take care of last season, but with a Super Bowl and a Pro Bowl he had no time to get healed up. Now, it appears that our quarterback will come into the 2007 season fired up and finally healed up!

That's great! I for one, must admit that I was too hard on him. I think that the team did do a great job considering all the injuries that they had to deal with. Looking forward to next year!

amazing we almost knocked off the Bears with a banged up team. I'm already smelling another great season next year. Strike while the iron is hot!

Gotta admit...I was a bit too harsh on Matt this year as well. Hard to believe all the pain this guy played through this season! The kindness of a gentlemen and yet the TOUGHNESS and HEART of a Wolverine...we are truly blessed to have Matt as "our" quarterback. Get well soon Matt!!!

tim, Yes, almost. Glad it wasn't horseshoes. If what you're smelling smells different from what you've smelled in the past, it might even be the Lombardi.
