Jay Cutler will make his first start Sunday versus the Broncos. Apparently, the Mile High city is going crazy for all things Cutler. His jersey is flying off the shelf. Maybe it's me, but everytime I see Cutler in his #6 jersey all I can think about is Bubby Brister. I'm sure you old Seahawk fans can relate. I don't know whether to feel sorry for Jake Plummer or not. Sounds like they berated him and beat the confidence out of him. Look for the Seahawks to throw it to anyone who's not being covered by Champ Bailey. Chiefs coach Herm Edwards calls him one of the best cover guys he's seen. Before becoming a head coach, Edwards was primarily a defensive back coach. Plus, he played cornerback in the NFL for 8 seasons. So when Herm says he's good, I believe him. Also, it sounds like Denver's run defense is having a few issues. Shaun Alexander could have another big day. Don't forget to watch the Mike Holmgren show following the game.
