Reporting from Cheney:
Mike Holmgren surprised his players today, saying that training camp workouts wouldn’t be has physical as past years. The change in philosophy is due in part to the players hard work during the off-season, and to Holmgren’s desire to keep everyone healthy. One of the biggest question marks right now is the health of the team.
Eight players, including Darryl Jackson are on the PUP (physically unable to
perform) list. D-Jack underwent knee surgery in March and still isn’t able to participate in practice. Holmgren is a little concerned by the slow progress, but isn’t ready to hit the panic button quite yet. Ken Hamlin will participate in the full contact work tomorrow. He’s ready to get back to business as usual on the field.
