Please Hawks stay focused!!! May not be alive in another 22 years. Panthers are the focus.

We don't need Locklear. We'll win anyway. All we have to do is stay focused.

King 5 News is part of the problem. Why are they the only news channel to cover this as their first story. You are causing the distraction. Shame on you! Other channels are covering more important stories and you waste my time with negative exposure for the team. I don't want to hear it, and I am now changing the channel for my daily news.

Which is less classy? A guy who spits on another man in the middle of a very heated exchange in the middle of a very heated, brutal, violent game.
or
A 300lb plus man who beats the crap out of his girlfriend.
Yeah, Seattle has the "classy" players......

Message to Classyfan..... Which is less classy running your mouth or losing to the so called less classy players??? I think you and your redskins qualify for both of those.

Beats the crap out of his girlfriend? From the reports I read she said he didn't do anything and declines medical attention. He said he grabbed her by the shirt, not her neck. Regardless, I thought this was America where people are innocent until proven guilty. If he is guilty, I'm quit sure Holmgren will bench him. If not, then he should be allowed to play.

Anyway about it, domestic abuse is immoral, illegal, and unacceptable. Abusers must be accountable for their actions. That said... guilt is not determined {nor absolved) by the press.
This is not a football or 'Seahawk' thing. This is a human rights issue. Fans can be FOR the Seahawks and AGAINST domestic abuse. As of today, he has not been convicted but that is not relevant. In this particular forum, we should resist all attempts to fuse the Seahawk's playoff run with the domestic abuse charges of one of their players. He is either innocent or guilty but it does NOT mean a thing regarding this final Seahawk run for a Superbowl ring. Let's not start posting crap about the charges and what that means about the Seahawks 'chances.' That's just wrong.

i just love how king 5 de-moralizes, and glorifies , all the news that's crap to run... to king 5 , if it's not bleeding, cut in half, or on video... it's not news... shame on you guys for making an everyday occurance in this world, your top story... instead of running a top story on domestic violence, why dont you guys run a story on how so many people are struggling to keep their homes from falling into the ground, or some other news worthy story... instead of feeding off a tip like a bunch of blood thirsty vultures... you guys make me sick... and another thing.... NWCN... is the worst idea you guys have ever come up with... live and local news 24 hrs a day... BULLS**T!!!!! i can turn to NWCN at any time of the day and i can assure you it's not live, and if it is, it's because you are running breaking news on some piece of crap, that no other self respecting network would even flinch for.... you guys suck.. and should really re-think your mission for news.....

Guys,
I'm not a Redskin fan, I'm not even a football fan. My point is this: We way overvalue the importance of this game, and the people who play it, in our society and it just sickens me that so many people seem to care so much about it.
Now, without even thinking objectively about what I've said, you'll tell me that "this is a frickin Seahawks fan blog, what do you expect?" I guess you might be right, so I'll leave you alone. I just hope someday you see the light.

classyteamfan, you are a total tool, this is a football blog, go on the Lawerance Welk or the Tim Eyeman blog if you want to talk about something that interests you, you are such a knob!
GO HAWKS!!!!!!!

kids, especially teens, look up to football players as role models....so....what kind of message about adult behavior and the consequences of running afoul of the law do we see here? A slap on the wrist, a scripted public apology and on he goes to play in the BIG GAME...because, gosh, the game is FAR more important than the modeling. Gotta please those fans. What do you want to bet that there is another incident? Domestic violence is a pattern of behavior, not a single action. Remember Tacoma?

Lee. Are you part of the United States? Innocent until proven guilty. If you were accused of something, should you be fired from your job before a trial? Grow up.

Brenton, Richard, Jeremy and Dale,
I wonder if you would be signing the same tune if it was a Panther's player instead of Locklear...
or even if it was a player on a less successful Seattle team?
just curious, but I doubt the whole innocent until proven guily line would be used a whole lot.
it is sad
