Everyone is buzzing about this Saturday's big game between the Hawks and the Colts, but it looks like Indianapolis is going to back off some of its key players to protect against injuries. While the Hawks are playing for home-field advantage, the game is essentially meaningless for the Colts. In fact, Colts coach Tony Dungy says it's unlikely Peyton Manning will play the entire game (and some suspect he might not play in the second half). And leading receiver Marvin Harrison, who suffered a hand injury in the loss to San Diego, may not play at all. "This was supposed to be a much bigger deal," writes José Miguel Romero in the Seattle Times. Prediction: When the Hawks win on Saturday, the national media will say it's because the Colts didn't try to win, not because the Hawks are a better team. Sigh.
