The Seahawks are off for the week, and Chad raises a good point in the comments. "We are horrible coming off of the bye," he writes. Sure enough, the Seahawks are 3-12 in games played after byes, reports Dave Boling in The News Tribune. And Holmgren has never coached the Seahawks to a win after a bye, losing all six times. "Lets hope this year will be different," Chad says. 8 Comments |

Thanks, Cale. I changed the link. Interesting that KnoxNews didn't credit The News Tribune.
Yeah, coming off of a bye week can be hard, but last time he gave his team a week off in 1996, the Packers won the Super Bowl!! Oh the possibilties.
Mike Holmgren is 0-6 after bye weeks as Seahawk Head Coach.
