If you've noticed more penalty flags flying through the air this season, you're not alone. Seattle Times reporter Chris Cluff writes about how Coach Mike Holmgren is joining a growing list of coaches who are upset over the jump in penalties this year. "We have never been a hugely penalized team," said Holmgren. "This year we have more, particularly in the holding area." Numbers don't lie. The league is averaging 15.5 assessed penalties per game, up from 14 at the end of last season.

I watch the game tapes and most all of R.Tobeks HOLDING penalties are of the more blatant variety.
He's getting manhandled more than ever ... Start C.Spencer now.

The problem is, is Spencer experienced enough to set up and make the calls for the line? I don't think that's as simple a task as it seems (and they are the number one offense, even with tobeck's penalties).
On a side note, does it ever seem to anyone else that Winstrom is being held often, and not recieving any calls?
