West Seattle keeps the spirit of 'the Dude' alive

The West Seattle Herald was there recently when a bunch of "Big Lebowski" fans took over West Seattle Bowl. Dressed in bath robes and drinking white Russians, fans bowled in honor of the Coen Brothers' 1998 film. Then they headed over to the Admiral Theater for a midnight showing. Lebowski fans tend to be a dedicated set. One West Seattle resident, Trevor Rasmussen, told the Herald he'd see the film at least 30 times. "Walter is one of the best characters ever created and my favorite," he said, "because he reminds me of one of my college friends." Apparently the Admiral shows "The Big Lebowski" fairly often.
