WaMu's Lake City advertising raises eyebrows
A KING 5 viewer today sent in this photo of a Washington Mutual billboard (part of a new WaMu ad campaign) that got stuck right next to a Déjà Vu strip club. Too funny.

The viewer says: "A co-worker circulated this image taken by a friend on his way into work. I believe it's Lake City Way." The full-sized image is here.

Sign is gone now! I live about 5 blocks from this site and when I went to go check it just now there's just a big white blank where it used to be...it has magically reappeared at about 140th St on Lake City Way...still facing westbound traffic (tried to take a pic but there was an accident scene happening right in front of the new sign site when I went down to check it out--and that would be just sick to be sitting there taking pics with an accident scene in the way! :) ).
I do have to say though...that is classic Lake City for ya! Woo Hoo! :-D

I love this picture, it is very funny. If you do not like the way the sign is set then you are a dried up prune who needs a funny bone transplant

In my opinion, we should remove the Déjà Vu strip club and leave the sign. It would be a definite improvement.

Deja Vu does way more good for this community than WaMu.
Uptight prudes who don't want strip clubs need to move to Alabama or something, get lost.

That is soooo funny! Thanks for the laugh.
Yes...we should remove the Deja Vu sign...the WaMu one is so very classy and pretty to look at.
