Uh oh, Ballard pillow fighters are in trouble

This last Sunday, 50 or so people armed with pillows descended on a small park in the middle of Ballard and smacked themselves senseless. Halfway through, feathers started flying. And by the time the five minute "flash mob" pillow fight was over, the ground was covered in feathers. This didn't sit well with the Seattle Parks Department, which said it spent six hours cleaning it all up. A parks official filed a police report, and now it's asking for information to track down the pillow fight's organizer. “We want people to have a fabulous time, just be grown up enough about it,” a park spokesperson told My Ballard. “Have fun, but clean up.”

Are these the same pillows they where biting the night before. Why is seattle so G@y. I really don't mind the occasional G@y factor but when half the city is either G@y or selfish it causes problems. So stop being so G@y seattle.

Are you kidding? We spend parks department dollars for six hours of feather clean-up? How much does it cost us to pick up the feathers left by birds? Oh, wait, bet they get left on the ground, as I'm thinking they might be a natural substance, biodegradable even, and therefore it is not necessary to clean them up. The feathers from PILLOWS however, yeah, I can definitely see the reason for spending all those man hours cleaning THAT up. Is it because feathers from pillows are white? And if so, is this a case of feather-ism? Priorities people! You could've spent that money on something valuable, like tire sculptures for the city dump!
