Giddy times for WSU hoop fans
"The last time I was this giddy was when the head cheerleader kissed me at a party in the eighth grade," writes The Olympian's Steve Powell about WSU's win over Norte Dame in the NCAA tourney. "It will be tough to keep UNC from running, but if the Cougs can do it, they can win. Wishful thinking? Sure. But when you're a Wazzu grad, you don't often have something like this to be giddy about."

Stationed down here in the land of Tar Heels it is getting rough....most have no clue who the COUGS are and we have our WSU plates, Alum stickers and more on the truck....wish we could make it to Charlotte for the game but with the Army schedule my husband has it is a no go...but we will be cheering LOUDLY from our couch on Thursday night. We are the COUGS and this could go any way at this point. The best part of being a COUG is never knowing how your team will do but knowing they will always bring you joy! GO COUGS!!
