Target to patrol stores on Segways
Rolling soon to Target near you: security on Segways. Security personnel on Segway devices will begin patrolling stores at 150 Target locations in the Seattle, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles and Dallas areas, reports the Puget Sound Business Journal. Target officials say the Segway devices give security officers an 8-inch height advantage and can be used both inside and outside the stores.

Does that 8" height advantage mean they'll be able to see the merchandise all over the floor at Northgate Target?

I wonder how many injuries it will take Target to figure out what a bad idea this is. Especially in the store. Who's little kid is gonna get knocked out first?

Wonder if they're going to be equipped with a donut holder and a cup holder?
