'Almost Live' alum launches new show

Nancy Guppy, former cast member of the old sketch comedy show "Amost Live," launched a new show on the Seattle Channel last night. "Art Zone In Studio with Nancy Guppy" airs every Thursday at 8 p.m. and explores Seattle's arts and culture scene. For her first show, says the Big Blog, Guppy profiled artist Lynne Saad, visited the 'Gates of Paradise' exhibit at SAM and talked movies with film guru Robert Horton. You can also watch the episodes online. The Big Blog has the old "Live" clip "Burger Gun" featuring Guppy, but her more recent parody "Gay News Network" is a lot funnier (and more risque.)
